Why is treating periodontal disease important?

How do you treat periodontal disease?

We offer scaling and root planing to help patients manage advanced periodontal disease. This deep cleaning procedure is designed to remove harmful plaque and tartar from pockets between teeth and gums.

Are dental implants right for me?

If you’re curious about dental implants, we invite you to schedule a consultation with Dr. Choi. During a consultation at our Plano office, we determine your needs and the solutions that are available to you. If implants are not right for you, we are happy to discuss alternative solutions.

Some patients must have a bone graft procedure before receiving dental implants. In a bone graft procedure, a small amount of bone tissue is added to a part of the jaw that has atrophied. Adding this tissue to your jaw strengthens it enough to support the placement of one or more implants.
